Message for First All India Conference of ‘Industries, Innovators, Entrepreneurs, Facilitators and Academia (IIEFA)’ during 5-7 February 2016 at Nagpur

Ability of us Indians in terms of creative ideas is well recognized. Translation of such ideas into products, processes and systems requires a conducive atmosphere that recognizes promising ideas and nurtures them towards realization of intended impact. Shedding silo mentality and encouragement to responsible free interaction between people belonging to different groups with complimentary capabilities and shared interests is a prerequisite to inculcating a culture of such innovation. Competitive economic status of countries eventually depends on their ability to leverage new scientific research for high tech innovations that make high impact in the market place with some of them being the game changers. Our dream of seeing a developed India as a global leader thus depends on creating a new culture of innovation involving high tech products.

IIEFA (Industries, Innovators, Entrepreneurs, Facilitators and Academia) Conference is an attempt to create a standing platform where various stake holders can synergies their capabilities to build India of our dreams. Clearly, the theme of the Conference namely  “Inducting Indigenous Technologies in Country’s Growth” is fundamental to near 100% value addition in the country with maximum exports in a sustainable way.

The first Conference has rightly kept its focus on micro, small and medium industries being one of the largest segments for employment generation and exports.
